Here's a video I found on how to use Pitcher. Formant shifting allows you to change the singer's gender, or to make a vocal that's been pitched up or down sound more natural. The formant control shifts the formant - the filtering created by the human voice - but leaves the pitch alone. The fine tune knob allows you to pitch-shift the whole thing after corrections are applied. A slow speed is used for subtle corrections when you're already a good singer who is only ever out of tune by a very small amount. A fast speed removes all the voice's natural variation, making it sound almost robotic, and is able to somewhat effectively fix very out-of-tune vocals. The speed control determines how quickly Pitcher will adjust the pitch of the vocals to the desired pitch. Next, you need to understand Pitcher's controls.
